The school is situated in the An Phu District, about twenty minutes from the city centre. The curriculum is international in focus and is based on the frameworks of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (Preschool - Grade 5), the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (Grades 6 to 10), the International Baccalaureate Diploma (Grades 11 and 12). The school also provides an American Academy, offering an American Curriculum. Specialist teaching of art, music, PE and Vietnamese language are a feature of the school at all levels. All textbooks are supplied and stationary is supplied from Preschool to Grade 5. The school has a uniform which is worn from Preschool to Grade 12. The student population comprises of 40 nationalities, with Vietnamese, Korean, US, Australian and Malaysian the major groups. The admissions policy is non-selective, although the Secondary Level English Proficiency Test (SLEP) is administered to students applying for Grade 8 to Grade 12. An EAL program is available from Grade 1 to Grade 10. The teaching staff are predominantly British, Australian and North American and all are qualified in their country of origin. Clinic Staff, Special Needs teachers and school Counsellors provide additional student support. The school year is August to June over two semesters. The school day is 07: 45 to 14: 40. A program of languages, sports, performing arts, student leadership, Model United Nations, community service and enrichment activities takes place after school and on Saturday mornings.
