La Grande Boissière is a campus of 20 acres situated in the former park of a chateau near the centre of Geneva. There are over 1, 900 students. The campus is divided into three schools: a primary school (pre-primary to Year 4); a middle school (Years 5-8); a secondary school (Years 9-13). There are English and French language programmes in the primary school and an English and French Bilingual programme in the Middle School. The secondary school offers the possibility of studying all major subjects in either English or French. Primary School Principal – Duff Gyr Middle School Principal – Shona Wright Secondary School Principal – Michael Featherstone La Ch?aigneraie has c. 1, 100 students and is situated in countryside in the Canton of Vaud with views of the Alps and Lake Geneva. Its primary school (Years 1-6) is authorised for the IB’s Primary Years Programme (PYP). The secondary school also offers the International GCSE and the Maturit?Suisse. There are English and French language programmes and, in the lower secondary school, a programme taught in the two languages. Primary School Principal – Jennifer Armstrong Campus and Secondary School Principal – David Woods Campus des Nations is the newest of the three campuses and opened in 2005. It is situated in the heart of Geneva’s international district in impressive modern accommodation and has two sites: Pregny (pre-primary to Year 2) and Saconnex (with a primary school covering Years 3-6 and a secondary school covering Years 7-13). The campus is authorised to offer all three IB programmes: Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma. Instruction is in English, though humanities subjects can be studied in French in the secondary school.
