It is a non-profit, independent complex for female students. The majority of students are Qatari citizens. The complex is following the national standards in Islamic Studies and Social Studies and SEC standards in Arabic, math, science and English. The complex aims to provide a broad, balanced and relevant education to meet the needs of both the international and local community. Pupils acquire Qatari and international qualifications, being prepared to transfer to international universities in Qatar and abroad or overseas. The Primary curriculum is based on international standards which will gradually go towards applying the Primary Years program of the International Baccalaureate in the KG Stage. The Secondary stage curriculum is based on IB standards. English is the language of teaching in math, science and IT. Fluency and accuracy are promoted to the fullest extent. Practical experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, are a vital aspect to the curriculum. Throughout the complex day outings, field trips, community services are organized to support learning. The focus on high academic standards is balanced by a concern to develop students' physical, emotional and social needs and to ensure that they are well prepared for life. The highest value is placed on productive citizen with positive behavior and morals towards others with respect for other point of views and potentials. There is a strong extra-curricular program including community services, sports, and performing and voluntary services. Classes are medium-sized which permits considerable individual attention and enable teachers to create a caring and well-disciplined learning environment. KG-12 are housed in six separate buildings with all the facilities available with a high quality of health, safety and security systems. The academic year runs from September to June. The school day is from 7: 00 to 13: 30. Admissions are open at the beginning of each academic year for students who are willing to benefit from the education provided at the complex. Entry is based on previous school reports, together with testing and interviews depending on age.
