In the international department there are 220 co-educational day students. NGG International School opened in August 1996 and has students ages four years through sixteen, in Kindergarten to Grade 10. International students and qualified teachers come from over 30 nations. Primary Students follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and the Secondary students follow Cambridge International Exams (CIE) and take IGCSE exams in Grade 10. The language of instruction is English and the students receive four lessons each week in the host language, Danish. Single subject classes include Physical Education (PE), Visual Arts, ICT and Danish. Second language English learners receive support in their mother tongue and language acquisition. There is, in addition to ESL support, curriculum support in Language and Mathematics. The school day begins at 08: 55 and ends at 14: 30 for Primary students and 15: 15 or 16.10 for Secondary students.
